RULES OF CONDUCT:

Planet Of Speed asks you to please read the following information regarding use of our forums:

ACCOUNT NAMES:
All members of Planet Of Speed are entitled to have anonymous profile names, but we ask that you pick ONE NAME and stick to one name.  Attempts to use numerous account names for the purpose of role playing and staging false arguements will not be tolerated, and continued attempts at this type of conduct will be investigated and ALL names associated with such conduct will be banned for a period of time for a time out.

CONDUCT
People using the forums should treat others with respect. Topics may turn into arguments occasionally and may become heated. That can be expected. There is a limit to how far such topics will go here.  Continued verbal abuse or personal attacks to an individual will result in having your membership access suspended or banned. There are language filters here, however, continued attempts to work around the filters and fill topics with abusive or obscene language will result in membership access suspension or banning. Planet Of Speed's forum moderators will have the final say in what is considered "over the top", and decisions resulting from abuse of these forums will be final. If you would like to e-mail a moderator about an incident, I suggest you be nice. There is no one person assigned to the job of Moderator, and the person(s) acting as moderator does not have to reveal his identity. His/her job is a nuetral position, and all foul play is judged equally.

BUSINESS GRIPES:
Using Planet Of Speed's Forums to slander a business or post personal malicious materials about an individual will not be tolerated. Planet Of Speed will not be held responsible for any material written in these forums, or any possible civil actions resulting from materials or information posted here. We will do our best to moderate these forums, but don't come after us with your personal problems.

MEMBERS E-MAIL ADDRESSES:
Planet Of Speed may occasionally send out notices to all registered forum members regarding new information or events coming up at our Forums and web site. Your E-Mail address will never be given out under any circumstances. Listing your E-Mail address in your BBS profile is suggested, but not required.

Image Uploading: Friday is Clean Up Day.

With the nifty option of image uploading at the forums, disk space and bandwidth usage are always a concern. Server disk space is the same as your home computer- too many files and you run out of space on your hard drive.  Bandwidth is the amount of transferred information allowed per month, which is leased by Planet of Speed, and specifies the maximum amount of information allowed to flow from the server every month in terms of gigabytes. Outside linking of images stored on Planet of Speed's web servers will use up bandwidth.  * OUTSIDE LINKING OF IMAGES FROM MEMBER MESSAGES IS PROHIBITTED *.  The web master will be periodically checking referred outside URL links from images on the server being pulled into outside web sites.  Members linking images in their messages somewhere else will have their images removed from server if they are found linked to outside web sites. While it is possible that other people may do this without your permission, the same rules apply; the image found linked to outside web sites will be deleted, period.  (Attempts may be made to warn outsiders of persistant cross-linking information from our servers.)  The image uploading feature here is free, and forums members abusing the priveledge will surely be headed for the "dog house". 8^o
To keep disc space free, the Test Forum will be cleaned out every other Friday or so, including images.
